Damaturu Flyover Project Completion Set for December 2026

The Damaturu flyover project is approaching completion, with a revised completion date now set for December 2026. Mr. Fadi Abi, representing Triacta Nigeria, the construction company, confirmed on Friday that work continues to meet this new timeline despite challenges posed by rising diesel costs.

The project has faced delays but is part of a larger scheme that includes the duplication of the Potiskum-Maiduguri road and the installation of full drainage systems across the entire zone. The contractor has assured that concrete work is 100% finished, although operations have been affected by the ongoing war, which has impacted equipment availability.

The flyover is a critical infrastructure development aimed at improving transport in the region.
