Dangote Group's Role in Africa's Industrialization Praised

Adamu Salihu, the Director General of the Niger Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NCCIMA), stated that Dangote Group is a transformative force in Africa's economy. Speaking in Lokoja ahead of the 22nd Niger National Trade Fair, Salihu emphasized that the conglomerate's investments in cement, sugar, salt, fertilizers, agriculture, and energy serve as a model for indigenous industrialization.

He noted that the theme of this year's fair, "Public-Private Partnership: Panacea for Nigeria's Growth," underscores the critical role of collaboration between government and the private sector. Salihu expressed optimism that Dangote Group's Vision 2030 strategy would unlock large-scale investments in agriculture and mining in Niger State, which has a competitive advantage due to its vast arable land.

He also mentioned the impact of the Dangote Petroleum Refinery in reshaping Nigeria's energy landscape and promoting local content and technological transfer. Salihu called on Nigerian entrepreneurs to emulate Dangote's investment strategies to create long-term value.
