Dangote Raises Petrol Price, Fuel Stations Set for Adjustment

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has increased the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) or petrol to N850 per litre, up from the previous price of N820 per litre. This change in price was confirmed as the refinery reopened for fuel loading.

Despite this increase, Dangote's price remains the cheapest among other sources, with other marketers adjusting their prices accordingly. Private depots across the country have also reduced their prices, with some dropping by N1 to N10 per litre.

In the Port Harcourt region, some depots saw notable adjustments in prices. This increase comes after the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) had recently slashed the cost of petrol at retail stations in Lagos and Abuja.

The changes in prices reflect the fluctuations in global crude oil prices.
