Dangote Refinery Reverses Petrol Price Reduction, Sparks Industry Debate

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reversed its reduction in petrol price, announcing a new rate for Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) per litre. The revised price reflects an increase from the initial reduction made earlier.

The refinery began direct petrol supply with free delivery in selected states, reducing the gantry price to N820 per litre. This adjustment comes as private depot operators face pressure to match prices.
