Muttaqha Rabe Darma Sworn in as Housing Minister

Muttaqha Rabe Darma was sworn in as Nigeria's new Minister of Housing and Urban Development on a date not specified in the article, replacing Ahm Musa Dangiwa, who recently resigned. Darma, born on July 23, 1966, in Katsina State, is an accomplished Nigerian engineer and politician.

He also possesses two PhDs in Law from institutions in the United Kingdom and the United States. Politically, he has served in various capacities within the Katsina State government and was a deputy governorship candidate for the New Nigeria Peoples Party in the 2023 elections.

He has declared his intent to contest for the Katsina Central senatorial seat in 2026.
