Carter Efe Praises Davido, Snubs Wizkid's Ignorance

On August 27, Nigerian comedian and content creator Carter Efe recounted his experiences with Afrobeats stars Wizkid and Davido during an interview with Madam Joyce. Carter claimed that Wizkid did not acknowledge a song he made as a tribute to him, titled "Machala," which was released in July 2022 and featured singer Berri Tiga.

Despite the song's success, reaching No. 1 on Nigeria’s Apple Music Top 100 chart, Wizkid did not publicly respond to it. In contrast, Carter expressed deep gratitude for Davido's support during a difficult period in his life, stating, “Davido is my helper.

I don’t give a fuck about Wizkid, that guy. I did a song for Wizkid; that guy snubbed my whole life.” He affirmed his intention to continue praising Davido for the assistance he received.
