Efe stated that Davido warned him against insulting Wizkid, clarifying that he did not want Efe to attack the Made in Lagos artist.

Efe rejected claims that Davido had been encouraging him to target Wizkid, explaining that their close association led some to believe that his remarks were influenced by Davido. Instead, Efe emphasized that Davido had asked him to stop insulting Wizkid, stating, “Davido messaged me and asked me never to insult Wizkid again.” He expressed disbelief that anyone could think Davido would encourage such behavior, indicating that he had evidence to support his claims.
