Davido Confirms Upcoming Joint Album with Chris Brown

Nigerian afrobeat star Davido has confirmed that he is working on a joint album with American R&B singer Chris Brown, which is expected to be released next year. Davido made this disclosure during a recent appearance on the Swift Conversations podcast, where he spoke about his current music and future plans.

He highlighted that his latest sound is deeply rooted in African influences and aims to reconnect with producers from his earlier career. Despite the shift towards international collaborations, Davido stated that these remain a part of his creative process.

He noted that he and Chris Brown have built a strong music partnership since 2019, beginning with their hit track "Blow My Mind." The afrobeat singer also revealed that they have several unreleased tracks together, further raising anticipation for the upcoming album.
