He stated that he chose to use this global platform to draw attention to the safety of citizens and the country's image, particularly concerning the abduction of schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo State.

Davido wore a specially designed outfit bearing the names of kidnapping victims, aiming to raise international awareness and keep public attention on the tragedy. In a recent interview, he criticized influential individuals for their reluctance to openly discuss Nigeria's security challenges, which he believes affects innocent citizens.

Davido expressed that while performing on such a significant stage was a privilege, he felt a responsibility to be a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves, especially in light of the humanitarian and security concerns involving vulnerable populations.
