In a recent interview with BBC, Nigerian superstar Davido addressed the critical issue of school kidnappings in Nigeria, asserting that the country's image is not worth protecting when children are being abducted. He made this statement while performing at a side event during the FIFA World Cup, which is co-hosted by Mexico, the United States, and Canada.

Davido wore a black leather jacket adorned with a pin bearing the names of 39 abducted children and seven teachers from Oyo State. He emphasized that there is no image to protect when innocent children are kidnapped, reflecting on the heightened insecurity in Nigeria.
