Nigerian music star Davido secured the Best International Act award at the 2026 Liberian Entertainment Award, surpassing fellow nominees Rema, Tyla, and Gunna. The award ceremony was held on April 25 at the Lisner Auditorium in Washington DC, as announced by the music chart platform ChartsAfrica via X on Monday.

This latest accolade adds to Davido's impressive record of international recognition and further cements the global footprint of Afrobeat music. The Liberian Entertainment Award, established in 2009, celebrates excellence across various fields including music, film, fashion, sports, and community service, recognizing the achievements of Liberian creatives both locally and abroad.
