Davido’s latest album, ‘Oriadé’, has experienced a reported reduction of 1,340,182 streams on Spotify as a result of the platform's efforts to eliminate artificial plays. This adjustment has impacted multiple tracks from the album, including ‘I Know Who I Be,’ ‘Gimme Dat Ting,’ and ‘Tell Everybody.’ The figures were reported by music data-tracking sources such as Charts Africa and discussed by fans online.

Spotify routinely removes streams it identifies as artificial, which do not represent genuine listening activity and may involve automated methods. Although Spotify has not publicly associated the stream reduction with Davido or his team, nor accused him of manipulating streams, the incident has garnered attention due to a similar situation with his previous album, ‘5ive’, which faced stream deductions in 2025.

At that time, fans speculated about reductions involving songs like ‘Funds’ and ‘Awuke’, although a reported 18 million-stream deduction was not independently verified.
