Dayo Israel Encourages Nigerian Youths to Pursue Sports

Dayo Israel, the APC National Youth Leader, called on Nigerian youths to take sports seriously as a pathway to success. He described sports as a powerful avenue for national achievement, especially following Nigeria's impressive performances on the global stage in various disciplines, including arm wrestling and athletics.

Israel noted that the recent successes of Nigerian athletes serve as a clear signal of the country's immense potential when talent meets opportunity, supported by proper infrastructure. He urged young Nigerians to actively participate in the sports ecosystem rather than being mere spectators.

Israel commended the efforts of athletes and officials, including the National Sports Commission (NSC) and its Director General, Bukola Olopade, for their commitment to sports development and athlete welfare. He reaffirmed the need for sustained investment to increase youth participation and ensure Nigeria continues to excel in global sports competitions.
