Tinubu Inaugurates Kuje-Gwagwalada Dual Carriageway

On Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu inaugurated the completed seven-kilometer Kuje-Gwagwalada dual carriageway, which aims to alleviate the hardship and insecurity faced by residents along this corridor. Represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, Tinubu stated that the dual carriageway would end decades of challenges for commuters in the Kuje, Gwagwalada, and Kwali areas.

The road features solar-powered streetlights, pedestrian walkways, and modern drainage facilities, enhancing the physical infrastructure of the region. Tinubu emphasized that the project is part of his administration's commitment to extend development beyond the Abuja city center to satellite communities.

He noted that the road had previously been a "death trap" for traders, students, and farmers, causing significant losses in time and productivity. The new infrastructure is expected to unlock agricultural potential and improve safety for residents, urging them to safeguard the public infrastructure and support government efforts.
