Tinubu Launches Road Projects to Boost Abuja's Economy

On an unspecified date, President Bola Tinubu inaugurated newly rehabilitated and expanded road projects at the Karu interchange and Custom Clinic junction in Abuja. This initiative is part of his administration's efforts to reflate the local economy and resolve urban congestion.

The projects are designed to uplift the living standards of Nigerians, particularly in the Karu corridor, which serves as a critical gateway for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and neighboring states. The newly constructed roads are expected to significantly reduce daily travel times and eliminate frustrating gridlock, thereby fostering a conducive environment for business activities.

Additionally, modern solar-powered streetlights will be installed along the entire road network to enhance safety and visibility. Tinubu commended the efforts of the Federal Capital Territory Administration and the contractors involved, emphasizing the importance of protecting infrastructure from vandalism.
