Close contacts have expressed worries and demanded transparency, especially after claims by childhood friend Olawale Samuel Akindairo on Facebook alleging that Asuquo withdrew 11 million from his bank account shortly before his death.

Akindairo's post has fueled speculations, prompting intensified calls for authorities to investigate. Notably, Akindairo has urged Nigerian lawmakers, including former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, to intervene due to the seriousness of the matter.
