Defence Minister Praises Akwa Ibom Governor's Leadership

On Thursday, Defence Minister Christoph Musa, a retired general, praised the leadership of Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno during a courtesy visit at the Governor's House in Uyo. Musa commended the impressive road network across the state and expressed confidence that the achievements are within reach, emphasizing the need for public collaboration in security management.

He delivered a lecture during the combined convocation ceremony at Akwa Ibom State University, where he acknowledged the governor's commitment to good governance and the peace felt by the people of Akwa Ibom. Musa also noted the efforts of President Bola Tinubu in enhancing national security and called for collective action to address security challenges.

He recognized the support of the Nigerian Army's 2 Brigade in maintaining security in the state and reiterated the importance of collaboration among security agencies to ensure peace and stability.
