Former ACN Chair Reaffirms Loyalty to APC in Abuja

Hon. Cletu Obun, the former state chairman of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), reaffirmed his loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC) during a solidarity meeting held at the APC national secretariat in Abuja.

The meeting included former ACN chairmen who pledged their continued support for the APC leadership. Dr.

Benjamin Obi Nwoy, a member of the APC National Working Committee (NWC), spoke on behalf of Obun, highlighting the importance of unity within the party as they prepare for the 2027 general elections. Obun emphasized the need for the new leadership to respect and acknowledge the contributions of founding members of the party, noting the sacrifices made to build the APC.

He urged the new leadership to promote inclusivity within the party and expressed confidence in the capacity of the newly elected national officers, praising their wisdom and courage in assuming their responsibilities.
