Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, a midfielder for Lazio, is close to returning from a thigh injury sustained on August 25, following his participation in a Serie A match against Bologna. Reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport indicate that he could resume group training by Thursday, ahead of Lazio's Serie A fixture against AC Milan at the Stadio Olimpico on September 12.

Lazio's coach, Gennaro Gattuso, may include the 25-year-old in the squad, although a place on the bench is more realistic than a starting role.
