Femi Azeez Excluded from Super Eagles AFCON Qualifiers
Femi Azeez, a key player for the Super Eagles, has been excluded from the squad for the upcoming AFCON 2027 qualifiers against Madagascar and Guinea Bissau due to a hamstring injury. Initially included in the squad, Azeez's injury has hindered his ability to participate in matches, including his Premier League debut for his new club, Brighton.
Azeez previously showcased his talent during the Unity Cup, where he scored twice and provided an assist, helping the Super Eagles retain the title they won the previous year. His absence from the qualifiers is a significant loss for the team as they prepare for these crucial matches.
