Clark Applauds Oborevwori's Riverine Infrastructure Plans

Hon. Ebikem Clark, the Director of Riverine Infrastructure in Delta State, commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his sustained commitment to developing riverine communities through large-scale infrastructure projects.

In a statement made on Monday, Clark praised the recent approval of a ₦80 billion grant by the Delta State Executive Council for the construction of several strategic roads in riverine areas. This initiative is seen as a clear demonstration of the administration's determination to open coastal areas and stimulate economic growth.

The approved projects include the construction of the Macaulay Mitubiri Road in Bomadi Local Government Area, a 2.45-kilometer internal road in Odimodi community, a 3.75-kilometer internal road in Ogulagha community, and various other roads in Burutu and Warri South West local government areas. These projects are expected to significantly improve access, enhance socio-economic activities, and transform rural economies, benefiting the communities involved.
