Delta PDP Threatens Legal Action Against APC Defectors

The Delta State chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has announced plans to pursue legal action against members who defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC), alleging that these individuals forged resignation letters. PDP Chairman Mr.

Peter Mrakpor described the alleged actions as fraudulent and a clear breach of due process, warning that those involved will be held accountable. He confirmed that none of the defectors followed the proper procedures for submitting resignation letters at their respective wards.

The PDP is preparing to take legal action against individuals found culpable of this alleged scheme. Despite a wave of defections, Mr.

Mrakpor expressed confidence in the PDP's stability and unity in Delta State. Additionally, the PDP has demanded that Chief Solomon Areyinka, the APC state chairman, vacate the PDP secretariat currently occupied by the APC, asserting that the property remains under the PDP's name and has not been revoked by the state government.
