APC Chairman Stresses Unbiased Journalism's Role in Democracy

Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, the Chairman of the Progress Congress (APC), highlighted the necessity of impartial journalism for democracy during a public lecture in Makurdi, Nigeria.

He stressed the need for journalists to prioritize national unity over political rivalries and hold those in power accountable without becoming political actors. Yilwatda urged journalists to focus on factual reporting, fact-checking, and digital literacy to combat the spread of fake news.

He assured that the APC-led federal government is committed to strengthening the economy, improving security, and fostering national development.
