Dagogo Critiques APC Amid Democracy Day Protests

Farah Dagogo, a former member of the House of Representatives representing Degema/Bonny Federal Constituency, stated that the various protests across Nigeria on Democracy Day signal a growing public rejection of the All Progressives Congress (APC) government. He described the protests as a reflection of widespread dissatisfaction with the APC's governance, particularly regarding worsening economic conditions and insecurity.

Dagogo noted that citizens have faced significant hardships over the past 11 years under APC leadership, with the last three years being particularly challenging. He urged the APC to take immediate steps to alleviate the suffering of ordinary Nigerians and restore public confidence.

Dagogo expressed optimism that the APC would relinquish power by May 29, 2027, as Nigerians increasingly embrace the African Democratic Congress as a credible alternative. He emphasized the need for political leaders to learn from the shortcomings of the APC and prioritize policies that improve the welfare of Nigerians.
