Denmark Limits Welfare Benefits for Establishment Card Holders

Denmark has issued a statement regarding the limitations of welfare benefits for foreign nationals holding an Establishment Card. This card is designed for skilled foreign nationals to remain in Denmark after completing their studies or ending employment, allowing them time to seek entrepreneurial opportunities.

However, it does not grant access to the full range of social welfare provisions available to other residents. The Danish authorities have explicitly listed five benefits that are unavailable to Establishment Card holders and their accompanying family members.
