Kalu Launches Mobilization for Tinubu's Re-election Bid

On Thursday, Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu initiated an aggressive mobilization plan for President Bola Tinubu's re-election campaign, targeting to gather no fewer than 150 million supporters across Nigeria. The launch took place in Abuja during a meeting with delegates from support groups in Edo, Ekiti, and Katsina states.

Kalu, who is the founder of the Renew Hope Partner (RHP) group, emphasized the importance of promoting Tinubu's "Renew Hope Agenda" to advance Nigeria's democracy and secure the country's future. The mobilization strategy includes outreach in marketplaces, churches, mosques, motor parks, and campuses, aiming to engage citizens in discussions about the agenda.

Kalu tasked the group with raising awareness about voter registration and mobilizing advocacy efforts. The RHP group, coordinated by Mathia Ehizua, has already registered 11,800 members within two months of its establishment, with plans to include civil society and clergy in its membership drive.
