NDC Confirms Candidates Will Be on 2027 Election Ballot

The Nigeria Democrat Congress (NDC) has assured that its candidates will be on the ballot for the upcoming 2027 general elections. This statement was made by Ikenna Enekweizu, the party's national secretary, during an interview on Channel Television's Politics Today.

The assurance follows a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja, Kogi State, which set aside a previous judgment that directed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to deregister the NDC. Enekweizu expressed confidence that the party would successfully upload its candidates' information as required by INEC and participate fully in the elections.

He emphasized that the NDC is prepared to contest and win the elections, highlighting issues such as hunger, insecurity, and government failures that have affected the country.
