Cyriel Dessers Eager to Return for Panathinaikos After Injury

Cyriel Dessers, a 31-year-old striker for Panathinaikos, is looking forward to returning to competitive action after spending approximately six months sidelined due to injury. He sustained the injury during training for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Dessers has not appeared in any competitive matches for Nigeria since his injury and has been undergoing treatment in Greece. He joined Panathinaikos from Scottish Premiership club Rangers last summer and has featured five times for the club.
