Defence Minister Musa Reviews Military Strategies in Abuja

On Wednesday, Defence Minister Musa convened a strategic meeting with service chiefs in Abuja to discuss ongoing military operations against terrorism and banditry across Nigeria. Musa assured that the Nigerian military remains committed to restoring peace and security nationwide.

He acknowledged recent military casualties but noted that terrorist groups have suffered greater losses. Musa urged Nigerians not to be discouraged by misinformation circulating on social media, which he stated undermines the morale of security personnel.

He called on citizens to support security agencies by providing credible information and reporting suspicious activities promptly. Musa also congratulated Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun and expressed readiness to strengthen collaboration between the military and police to tackle insecurity.

He warned individuals providing logistical support to terrorists that they would be dealt with accordingly. The meeting followed coordinated attacks by terrorists on military bases, resulting in the deaths of soldiers.
