DHQ Condoles Family of Slain Ex-General Rabe Abubakar

On a condolence visit to Katsina State, the Defence Headquarters delegation, led by Chief of Administration of the Army, Major General Abdullahi Sundai, expressed their sorrow over the death of retired Major General Rabe Abubakar. The visit, which included a message from Chief of Defence Staff General OO Oluyede, highlighted Major General Abubakar's dedication and significant contributions to the Nigerian Army over three decades.

The delegation conveyed condolences to Abubakar's family, emphasizing that his sacrifices would not be forgotten and would continue to inspire current and future military personnel. Alhaji Dikko Muazu, representing the family, expressed gratitude for the military's support during this difficult time.

The Deputy Governor of Katsina State, Mallam Faruk Lawal Jobe, also acknowledged the loss, describing it as painful for both the state and the nation. The visit underscored the military's commitment to ensuring justice regarding the circumstances of Abubakar's death.
