Shettima Praises ProFuturo-Kukah Centre Education Partnership

On Wednesday, Vice President Kashim Shettima commended the partnership between ProFuturo Foundation and Kukah Centre during a courtesy visit at the Presidential Villa. This collaboration supports quality digital education for vulnerable communities across Nigeria, aligning with the nation's goal of skill education under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration.

Since the partnership began in 2017, ProFuturo Foundation has achieved significant milestones, including enrolling 72,000 students and training 1,150 teachers. Shettima proposed an interface to implement digital education initiatives and emphasized the need for collaboration among stakeholders, including the National Board for Technical Education and the Industrial Training Fund.

He assured the delegation of his commitment to advancing digital education initiatives nationwide. The meeting included key figures such as Albert Martinez, Deputy Director of ProFuturo Foundation, and Aisha Garba from the Universal Basic Education Commission, highlighting the importance of political leadership in enhancing educational outcomes.
