Shettima Praises ProFuturo-Kukah Centre Education Partnership

On Wednesday, Vice President Kashim Shettima commended the partnership between ProFuturo Foundation and Kukah Centre for their efforts in providing quality digital education to vulnerable communities across Nigeria. During a courtesy visit at the State House in Abuja, Shettima highlighted that this initiative aligns with the country's quest for skill education under President Bola Tinubu's administration.

He noted the successful record of digital education initiatives since the partnership began in 2017, which has led to significant achievements despite Nigeria's growing population. Shettima proposed the establishment of an interface to implement digital education initiatives, involving critical stakeholders such as the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and the Industrial Training Fund (ITF).

He assured the delegation of his commitment to introducing ProFuturo initiatives to the National Economic Council (NEC) to enhance basic education across the country. The project, coordinated by Dr.

Emmanuel Nkanta, has impacted 72,000 students and 1,150 teachers across 123 schools in 13 states.
