Dangote Refinery's Strategic Fuel Supply Move to Save N1.5 Trillion

Dangote Refinery plans to save N1.5 trillion by directly supplying fuel nationwide, bypassing the Depot and Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (DAPPMAN). DAPPMAN accused the refinery of undercutting local prices for international buyers.

Dangote justified the move by avoiding the Single Point Mooring system, which would incur extra costs. The refinery aims to distribute 40 million liters of PMS and 15 million liters of AGO through this new strategy, reducing handling charges significantly.
