DJ Chicken Released from Kirikiri Prison After Two Weeks

DJ Chicken, a controversial Nigerian content creator, regained his freedom from the Kirikiri Correctional Centre on Tuesday after spending nearly two weeks in prison. His release was announced via a video on social media, where he was accompanied by his lawyer.

In the video, DJ Chicken expressed his joy, stating, “I’m back oo, freedom at last,” and extended his gratitude to the Nigerian government, Seyi Tinubu, and President Bola Tinubu, saying, “God bless the Nigerian government, God bless Seyi Tinubu, and our president. I love you guys.” He emphasized the value of freedom, noting that those who are free do not understand what God has done for them.

DJ Chicken's imprisonment stemmed from a case adjudicated by a Lagos State Magistrate Court, where he faced charges related to a threat to kill Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu.
