Student Detained Over AI-Generated Nude Pic of Ayra Starr, Don Jazzy Implicated

Oluseyi Oluwasemilogo Ayinla, a student, was reportedly detained by the Nigerian police following an incident involving an AI-generated nude image of music star Ayra Starr. Ayinla allegedly posted the image and refused to delete it despite warnings.

Don Jazzy, the founder of Mavin Records, was implicated in the incident according to online reports. The detainee was still in custody as of December 30, 2025, with no official police statement released.

Ayinla's bail conditions reportedly required two sureties of level 14 civil servants residing in upscale areas like Ikoyi or Lekki. Ayra Starr, in a separate development, disclosed plans to relocate to New York for personal reasons.
