Abia Traditional Rulers Urge Politicians for Peace

On Friday, traditional rulers from the Ohuhu clan in Abia State made an appeal to politicians, urging them to respect power-sharing agreements to prevent violence and community destruction. Ez Iheanyichukwu Nwokenna, representing the Ekeoba Kingdom, called on politicians from Ikwuano and Umuahia South to allow the Ohuhu clan to complete their second tenure in the House of Representatives.

The traditional rulers emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and avoiding political conflicts that could lead to violence. Ez Nnamdi Ofoegbu warned against allowing the community to become a battleground for political ambitions, stating that the people should not suffer due to political disagreements.

The traditional rulers expressed their desire for peace and urged politicians to prioritize the welfare of the community over personal ambitions.
