Otti Urges Southeast Monarchs to Promote Justice and Unity

During a meeting with the Southeast Traditional Rulers Council in Umuahia, Abia State Governor Alex Otti called on monarchs from the South-East and South-South regions to prioritize justice and fairness within their communities. He highlighted the necessity for collaboration among leaders to achieve sustainable development and noted that progress is best attained through unity.

Otti advised traditional rulers to ensure that appointments within their communities are based on merit. He dismissed claims of discord within the Southeast Governors' Forum, explaining that differing priorities often reflect local realities and that perceived differences may not exist.

Otti's address was acknowledged by Ez Linu Nto Mbah, the chairman of the Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers, who expressed concerns about the erosion of cultural values and the increasing conflicts within communities.
