Labour Party Warns APC Against Dragging Otti into Crisis

The Abia State Chapter of the Labour Party issued a statement on Friday, cautioning the All Progressives Congress (APC) to refrain from involving Governor Alex Otti in its internal political crises. The party described the attempts to link Otti with accusations made by APC's State Public Secretary, Uch Aguoru, regarding Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu as unacceptable.

The Labour Party emphasized that Otti's focus is on governance, infrastructure development, and restoring public confidence in institutions rather than engaging in political speculation. They criticized APC for dragging Otti's name into their political narratives, which they believe distracts from addressing the concerns of their members.

The Labour Party stated that Otti's performance has become a standard for governance in Abia State, and they find it unnecessary to engage in debates over political endorsements that are manufactured by opposing elements seeking public attention.
