Don’t Sell Your Vote, AA’s Candidate Tells Anambra Electorates

AA candidate for the November Anambra State governorship election, Ozo Jeff Nweke, has urged voters not to sell their votes. In a special sermon delivered in Awka, Nweke likened his candidacy to that of biblical Moses, stating it was a mandate from God to liberate the people from hardship and stigmatization.

He urged Christians to resist the temptation of corrupt electoral processes and to actively participate in politics while upholding Christian virtues. Nweke emphasized the importance of rejecting money for votes, as it only leads to temporary solutions and compromises.

He warned against collecting money from politicians, as it makes one complicit in fraud and corruption. Nweke urged voters to focus on identifying the real issues and supporting candidates with sound political values.

He emphasized the need for a peaceful election and the importance of injecting righteousness into political leadership.
