Akume Motivates APC Members for Tinubu's 2027 Campaign

During a congress held on Wednesday, George Akume, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), called on party members to diligently work towards securing the highest number of votes for Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 presidential elections. The congress took place at the zonal headquarters of the party, covering various regions including North East, North Central, North West, South South, South East, and South West.

Akume moved a motion to adopt Tinubu as the sole presidential candidate for the 2027 elections, which was seconded by Governor Abdullahi Sule, who cited the party's achievements under Tinubu's leadership. Akume highlighted the North Central Zone's contributions to Nigeria's development and urged members to ensure overwhelming support for Tinubu.

The congress also saw the re-election of Mu Azu Mohd Bawa as the zonal vice chairman and the election of Isaac Kekemek as the new zonal chairman, who reiterated the zone's commitment to delivering significant support for Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
