Atiku Abubakar Urges Nigerians to Vote Conscience Over Tribe in 2027 Election

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar urged Nigerians to vote based on conscience rather than tribal or regional sentiments for the 2027 general election. Atiku, a ranking member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), condemned tribalism as a hindrance to national progress.

He emphasized the need to shun divisive tribal politics and focus on the competence of candidates regardless of their tribe. Atiku warned against voting based on ethnic affiliations and urged fellow citizens to prioritize the quality and competence of candidates.

He stressed the importance of unity and voting for the best candidate irrespective of tribal background.
