Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has come to the defense of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, asserting that the current Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, is merely repainting roads that were initially constructed during Kalu's time in office. Kalu recently held a strategic meeting in Umuahia to unite political actors and former officeholders to form a cohesive political bloc in Abia North.

The group, known as "Team Play," seeks to expand its influence and leverage the collective experience of its members to contribute to the state's development. Kalu rejects claims that previous administrations are irrelevant, emphasizing the ongoing governance process.
