Doro Marks Tinubu's Birthday with IDP Relief Efforts

On Saturday, Dr. Bernard M. Doro, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, visited the Kuchingoro Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) Camp in Abuja to celebrate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's birthday.

During this visit, he distributed relief materials to 300 households, which included food items, bed mats, blankets, and cash support of 10,000 Naira per household. This initiative aimed to assist vulnerable families within the camp, which currently hosts 1,500 individuals across 261 households, primarily displaced from Gwoza in Borno State and parts of Adamawa State.

Dr. Doro emphasized the federal government's commitment to the welfare and recovery of displaced persons, highlighting the importance of humanitarian efforts in renewing hope and creating pathways for long-term stability and self-reliance. He called for continued prayers and support for President Tinubu's administration.

The visit also featured the official flag-off of the relief material distribution, promoting community ownership and collaboration in addressing the needs of displaced populations.
