Dr. Godwin Umontuen and Others Honored with Zik Prize in Leadership Awards

Dr. Godwin Umontuen, along with Sen Ali Ndume and Dr.

Uzoka-Anite, were among the notable recipients of the Zik Prize in Leadership Awards. The ceremony, which took place at the Nicon Luxury Hotel in Abuja, honored Dr.

Umontuen as an outstanding professional leader of the year. The event marked the 121st posthumous birthday celebration of the great Nigerian leader, Dr.

Nnamdi Azikiwe. Prominent figures like Mu'azu Babangida Aliyu praised Dr.

Umontuen's leadership qualities, especially in building institutions and training qualified nurses in Nigeria. The Zik Prize, established in 1995, recognizes individuals who embody visionary governance and societal impact, in line with Dr.

Azikiwe's legacy.
