Drake Makes History with Top Three Billboard 200 Debuts

Canadian rapper Drake has made history on the Billboard 200 chart with his newly released albums "ICEMAN," "HABIBTI," and "MAID OF HONOUR," which debuted at numbers one, two, and three, respectively, on the chart dated May 30. This achievement marks the first time since the Billboard 200 began weekly publication in 1956 that a single artist has occupied the top three positions simultaneously. "ICEMAN" leads the pack with a debut of 463,000 equivalent album units, becoming Drake's 15th number one project, surpassing Jay-Z as the male solo artist with the most number one albums.

This accomplishment places Drake alongside Taylor Swift among solo artists with the highest number of number one albums, trailing only The Beatles, who have 19. "ICEMAN" recorded the second-largest album debut week of 2026 and is the largest week for an R&B/hip-hop project this year, with total units of 449,000. "HABIBTI" and "MAID OF HONOUR" debuted with 114,000 and 110,000 equivalent album units, respectively, making Drake the first artist to debut at numbers two and three simultaneously on the Billboard 200.
