He has an active defamation lawsuit appeal involving Roc Nation and UMG, stemming from a previous defamation lawsuit he filed over Kendrick Lamar’s track “Not Like Us.” Drake also warned other rappers considering a response to him, saying, “careful with that reply because the pen isn’t dry.” Although he did not name any specific individuals, he alluded to Jay-Z, who has recently responded to Drake's lyrics in a freestyle.
