DSS Brokers Truce Between NUPENG and Dangote Refinery to Prevent Supply Disruptions

The Department of State Services (DSS) intervened in a labor dispute between NUPENG and Dangote Refinery in Nigeria, facilitating a truce to prevent disruptions in the petrol supply chain. Following a meeting involving key stakeholders, including NANS, the parties agreed to adhere to a previous agreement signed on September 9.

Dangote Refinery committed to restoring NUPENG stickers on trucks and resolving issues raised by the union. The involvement of the DSS aimed to maintain industrial harmony and safeguard the supply chain.
