DSS Arrests and Arraigns Suspects Over Killing of 4 Military Officers in Delta State

The Department of State Services (DSS) has apprehended and arraigned suspects linked to the killing of four military officers in Ashaka Aboh, Ndokwa East LGA, Delta State. The suspects, identified as Ufuoma Sundai, Jame Lawrence, and Umuakpero Oboguayivwgu, were brought before a court following their alleged involvement in the attack that led to the soldiers' deaths during a peace mission amid community crises.

Additionally, gunmen reportedly beheaded four military officers, including Chief Okwudili Obi, who proclaimed himself a traditional ruler in the Asemoku community. Security sources revealed that the DSS operation, based on credible intelligence, led to the apprehension of the suspects who confessed to various crimes, such as gunrunning, kidnapping, and other violent acts.

The suspects have been arraigned at the State High Court in Kwale, where they have been remanded in custody pending trial.
