Tinubu Unveils The Nigerian Grand Book at DTN Centenary

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen George Akume, commended the Daily Times of Nigeria (DTN) during its centenary celebration held in Abuja. He described the publication as a vital custodian of Nigeria's political, social, and democratic history over the past 100 years.

In his keynote address, he highlighted that the Daily Times has documented significant events from the colonial era through the struggle for independence and the establishment of the Republic. Tinubu characterized the centenary as a testament to endurance and institutional resilience.

He emphasized the importance of The Nigerian Grand Book, stating that understanding history is crucial for national progress. The President linked the publication to his Renewed Hope Agenda, asserting that the current administration's reforms aim to change Nigeria's trajectory by strengthening institutions, improving infrastructure, and enhancing economic productivity.
