The claims include accusations of copyright infringement, trademark infringement, and misappropriation of Lipa's likeness. The lawsuit specifically references a television box titled "Dua Lipa Backstage" set to air in Austin, Texas, in June 2025.

Lipa became aware of Samsung's alleged unauthorized use of her image in June 2025, prompting her to take legal action to protect her rights and interests regarding her likeness.
